It’s the last week of summer before school starts, and I am alternating between jazz hands and melancholy, though I must admit…..it’s mostly jazz hands. We’ve had a great summer but man, both the kids and I are ready for a new routine. One thing that will not change is my weekly meal plan. Once homework, sports and church youth group kick in I’m going to need to plan ahead if we have any chance for a home-cooked meal most nights.
Here’s this week’s plan:
Monday: Bacon-wrapped Chicken, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli
Tuesday: Avocado burgers, roasted butternut squash, salad
Wednesday: Chili and salad
Thursday: Spaghetti, roasted cauliflower and steamed broccoli
Friday: Chicken Tacos, spanish rice, salad
