Monday: Bacon-wrapped chicken (didn’t happen last week, so we’ll try again this week), steamed broccoli, salad
Tuesday: Pot Roast with carrots and potatoes, salad
Wednesday: Grilled flank steak, roasted cauliflower, salad
Friday: Roasted Drumsticks (basically this recipe, but with drumsticks, and roasted), salad
As of right now we have absolutely no plans for the weekend, which makes me just about weep with joy. We’ve had a few weekends with lots going on, and I’m sure with the holiday season about to ramp up things will get crazy, so I’m going to sit back and relax this weekend. Can. Not. Wait.
Oh, and we will be eating a large bowl of salad every night this week in an effort to make up for the gas-station/convenience store hotdogs we are having for dinner on Thursday. Yes, even real-food people like myself get a little crazy sometimes and throw caution to the wind. I’m not going to lie: a hot dog from the QT every six months or so hits the spot!
